Just like any other big cities around the world same risks apply to Istanbul as well... Don't fly around high rise buildings and spots with high interference risk. Don't fly over crowds of people and Bosporus since there can be strong winds there... other than that no problem flying your drone in Turkey. I would recommend you to use your drone in other touristic locations such as Fetiye, Antalya, Bodrum, Cesme, etc... which you may have easier experience and better shots... these locations aren't highly populated and not much interference like in Istanbul.
Plus, I agree on one post regarding drone laws in Turkey... if it's under 5kg and for non commercial use, you may fly it without registration but just be very careful not to intrude restricted airspace and altitude...

Sp guys hopefully with my scenario...
Bristol to Bodrum August 2017 with a mavic pro. 3 batteries. In flight bag and carefully selected flying sites there and back. should be ok hopefully. ???
