Hope you have the P3P. The HDMI kit doesn't work well with the P3A.

I have the P3A and works just fine with my goggles

It works perfectly well with my P3A. I had it up a couple of nights ago watching a fireworks show and I had a 5m HDMI lead connected to a 19" TV.
