DJI Gimbal stabilizer broke....

As everyone tells me, my DJI supplied Gimbal protector/stabilizer has cracked and is now useless.
See #1
Is #2 and #3 sufficient to keep the gimbal safe or should I get a heavier version ($19) of the supplied DJI product?
So much sky. So little time!

You are making a mountain out of a mole hill here. Any one will do. All you want is stability and a lens cover for storage or travel. It is not that big of a deal, quite honestly.
