DJI Assistant Issue

Thanks for any input folks. I connected the Phantom 4 aircraft to DJI assistant on my PC today to look over all that’s available in the software. It connects just fine but I keeping getting “can not load firmware list” message. I’ve only connected to DJI assistant once last week when I received the Phantom 4 to register it and it worked fine. I don’t want to hit the “restore factory defaults” button because I’m not sure what it’s going to do my Phantom 4 is flying perfectly. Appreciate any input and Happy and Safe New Year All !

Was this the new Assistant 2 1.1.8 in Windows 10? I downloaded the new version but hadn't installed it yet and Windows Defender AV decided it was a Trojan and moved it to quarantine sometime later. Might be Defender has removed whatever Trojan portions of 1.1.8 if you already had that version. I didn't have an issue with the older 1.1.6.

Thanks GMack. Should have done some more searching before posting as I see this is a pretty common problem. Think I’ll look for the older version of Assistant and give that a try. I won’t override those warning prompts during the install so hope the older version works if it’s availble. But mostly hope they fix it.
