Phantom 4 Pro Gimble Camera on a Phantom 3 Pro Drone

i am having trouble getting my Phantom 3 Pro Gimble accepting the Firmware update. i have located a Phantom 4 Pro camera and gimble assembly that i would like to install on my Phantom 3 Pro drone. has anyone done this what has to be done to upgrade?

Nope. It's not possible.

You would need the aircraft that matches the P4P camera which would be the Phantom 4Pro or the Phantom 4 Advanced.

Sadly, both externally and internally far too much of a mismatch. I assume there was a reason for the firmware update? They’re not required and tend to cause more trouble than they fix so not recommended unless there’s no other choice.
