Damage assessment and help

Iam wounding if it's a calibration problem because it go through the warm up when starting up but then point 45 degrees to the side and stays there. I can make the pitch up and down works fine. Can Anyone Help?

Sounds like maybe something wasn't aligned correctly during the re-assembly of the gimbal. You have to pay close attention to the orientation of the rotor shafts of both the yaw and the roll control motors when putting these gimbals back together. The rotor shafts have a flat spot milled on the side of the shaft - the flat spot is easily visible when looking at the shaft end-on. That flat spot has to be clocked (rotated) so that internal sensors can report the exact angular orientation of the shaft during the alignment routine. If the angular orientation of the shaft is incorrect at the beginning of the alignment routine then the end result will always be un-desireable.

There are several YouTube videos which go into this alignment - I suggest a Google search for "P3 gimbal control arm replacement" as a starting point to find such videos. You will most likely have to dismantle the gimbal and re-assemble it in order to correct the 45-degree out-of-position condition. It's not as hard as doing a ribbon cable replacement but it does take some time and patience.

Let us know how it goes.
