Controller charging Ipad

Hi All,

My controller is charging my Ipad Mini 4. I have tried others cables and it keeps on.

Any suggestion?

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I'm pretty sure it's not actually charging the iPad but the voltage through the cable is enough to give the iPad a False Positive. So although it shows it's charging in reality it's really not.

If 5 volts is being supplied on the usb cable (the ipad charging indicator would confirm it is), then it is charging the ipad. Given the battery life on my controller relative to the drone, I doubt it will ever be a factor.

Today I did two flights and I checked that the battery % of the Ipad is higher after the flights. Does someone have other suggestion?
