Having some compass issues with my P4A after a shell replacement. I put the whole thing back together again yesterday, only to find I have a compass error that's going to require me replacing the landing gear. I had to take the shell back apart again, which is a major chore and an exercise that risks breaking the shell every time it's done.
I'd like to power up the drone once I have all the antenna and compass connections made so I can see if I've fixed my compass error before I snap the shell back together. That would mean I'd need to leave off the gimbal assembly as I really don't want it powered up and flopping around unattached. Is there any harm in doing so?
