Camera not working properly after yaw arm and ribbon cable replacement, camera getting hot

Why does my camera get stuck and roller arm motor gets very hot after I changed my ribbon cable and yaw arm,it worked pretty good up and down when I changed cable and yaw arm it got a little stuck then worked fine but a week later I turn it on and it's giving me grief, should I pull apart gimbal and camera and check connections, the camera footage is fine and when I turn it on the camera still does its start up dance properly, I don't get it
