I was poking at the camera today out of boredom, and decided to waste some of DJI support's time with it. They gave me the following directions:
Previously, I was unable to see any Phantom_whatever network at all. After performing the above steps, I was able to see and connect to the network and attempt to rebind the camera. However, this doesn't get me very far, as I still get a black screen and no telemetry data, with a "connection broken" error.
Previously we thought it was the wifi board that was dead; is that still the case?
