Brand new DJI Phantom 2 - no GPS? Flashing yellow....

Sounds like you have your answer. GPS is connected and running but the antenna is not picking up any satellites. I would suggest returning it to your dealer unless you bought it through DJI. It's a DOA so shouldn't be an issue.

Mine shipped with the compass cable disconnected from the board. Found it when I opened it up to add an FPV system.

Are you using your phantom 1 Radio tx,, or are you using the new Phantom 2 radio tx. ?

Sounds like you are not getting radio transmission. Re link the radio.

Got my new unit today and out the box, green lights flashed within 5 seconds

Hovered smooth also!

So don't forget, these units can be DOA! I've spent many hours trying to resolve this with no success, only to find out I had a bad unit..

Oh well, back to flying
