Battery warning! It said I had a broken cell during flight

Yesterday I was flying my phantom 4 over the Mississippi River all of a sudden I got low battery warning but I was not that far out. All of a sudden I noticed the battery started dropping and The drone started into auto land mode, I was able to manually get it back over land but the battery was dropping rapidly. All of a sudden it said aircraft disconnected when I found it it had crashed into the weeds. I have some structural damage where the antennas are but that's it, I put a new battery in it and started it up I had to recalibrate it but it said battery warning broken cell on a fresh battery. Has anyone had this problem?

Now I just charged the battery that crashed and got the same warning but it flew fine

Upload your flight log from the flight where you had the issue to healthydrones and post the link here. It should give some clues as to what happened.

What was your percentage charge when the flight commenced?

How long between when the battery was charged and the flight?

Is it possible the battery has entered auto discharge mode?

What was the ambient temperature?

I wouldn't be flying in that pack until you had an explanation of what contributed to the issue and some comfort the pack is ok.
