2.4 vs 5.8 phantom vision 2+ or phantom 2 - radio frequency

Im in process of updating my P2V+ camera to gopro , P2V+ have 5.8ghz frequency for the control , would 5.8ghz radio interfere with the control ?
i know some people say yes , but DJI is not saying anything about not to use 2.4ghz ground station module with phanom 2 that has also 2.4 ghz contlol

Yes, 5.8GHz FPV gear could interfere with the control channel on your Vision+, that's why DJI separated control and video bands that way.

The 2.4GHz data link is safe to use on Phantoms with 2.4GHz control, but 2.4GHz FPV (including wifi) is not.
