Wifi Extender (with battery)

Hi Guys
i am really having a hard time finding the perfect solution to this problem:

Problem: PORTABLE wifi extender that is BATTERY POWERED and can be used on 2.4ghz to extend the range of the wifi of either gopro/sjcam/fc40 cameras.

i looked at many of the tp-links but they all have a microusb for power and not buildingin battery to charge it.

for example has anyone used the TL-MR3040 with a SJCAM ?
if so, show me how to setup please
please give me some good advice on this

Hi I have been using an Edimax EW7416, I cut the power cable from its mains transformer and reconnected to a USB cable. Then use this to attach to one of these Li battery packs which are used to charge mobile equipment. See my post on Edimax for the setup I went through. Works fine and gives good extended range to a GoPro / SJCAM
