What's the best tablet for a Phantom 3?

I have a shield K1 still in hibernation from the winter along with my P3P.
Waiting to wake them up until the new update. I have not yet done the nougat update and have been concerned after reading the GO app crashes on it.
Any thoughts on if the GO app update might also address this issue?
