Hi, managed to crash my Phantom 3 advanced and cracked this part, some of the damper clear plastic clips disappeared as well. Does anybody know what the main part is called and where to source.
Is there a parts diagram for the whole camera gimbal assembly?
Thanks in advance
Jon
Still moves and filmsIf you hold the gimbal assembly in approx posn, does it still do the dance. Difficult to see how extensive the damage.
Thanks, and I had missed the foamWelcome to the forum.
Your pictures make it very difficult to tell, but if I had to guess I'd say its the gimbal yaw arm which is cracked.
I see gimbal repair kits for sale in various places. They usually come with the ribbon cables, though we ALWAYS recommend using only OEM cables.
Also, you seem to have two anti-drop pins which is all you need. The other two have likely not disappeared, just were never there.
Lastly, I hope you removed that white foam before powering up your AC. That may seem obvious, but you'd be surprised how many people left it in place when the P3 was new 10 or so years ago. It wasn't unusual for people to not even notice the foam.
Thanks"Thanks, and I had missed the foam" When?
"I’ve seen 3d printed yaw arms, I’ve got a 3d printer - any views?" What is a view for a 3d printer?
"Still moves and films" Ever thing still works, no error messages?
BTW,
