Thanks for posting -- I remember hearing about this months ago but had totally forgotten about it. Seems to be a pretty extensive series of tests covering a huge swatch of the southwest and right about the time I was planning on a trip with my P4P. Looks like late afternoon is OK most days but mornings through 14:30 are mostly no go until mid February.

I'm pretty sure this is testing of systems to deny GPS in case of national emergency. If this were testing of GPS receivers there would be no impact so very likely they have several GPS scramblers they want to test and that could make anyone relying on GPS have some problems -- or worse. So, let everyone know that they should not rely on GPS when testing so there *** is covered.
