Voltage fluctuation?

Hi all, hope you're all enjoying flying! I enabled the on screen voltage recently and have noticed when I'm around 3.8v or below, on ascent or descent the voltage goes from green to yellow, then when I stop(ascending or descending) and move forward/back/left/right it stays on green. Only seems to happen on ascent or decent. I'm not worried to be honest just wondering is it sucking more power when it's ascending/descending or what?
