V2.0 Goggles will not activate with Assistant 2

I have the RE Goggles for my v2.0 and cannot get them activated. Everything works well until I plug the cable into the PC. At that time the app will not recognize the attached device, and therefore no activation. Assistant version is 1.2.4.
Any advice will be appreciated.

As an update. I spent some quality time on the DJI online chat line. I have downloaded the Assistant 2 software 4 times, and went to Best Buy and got a HDMI cable in case I had a cable issue. My laptop does recognize that something is plugged into the HDMI port, but the Assistant 2 still does not recognize the device.

Problem solved. It was a IO problem (idiot operator). I used the wrong cable.

I had the same problem with the goggles connecting to assistant 2. It was the USB micro cable! Replace it and see if that helps.
