Using DJI Go and a custom android ROM

Hi
I've sadly been part of the note 7 mess. Back it goes.
I have to go back to my note 3 and having had a taste of android 6, i hate 5.
I could custom rom my note 3 to android 6.
Will this give me any problems using litchi or djigo? I'm hopefully going to be receiving my mavic.
Just wondered if I could get anyone's advice before i go through the effort of custom rom.

My note 3 running a 6.0 rom will not work with my p4 on dji go.

I bet... i rolled my pbone back to lollipop and it works no problem.. but with 6 ...no matter what mode the usb setting is it wont connect.
