Hello All,

I bought my Phantom 3 professional back in its early release. Shortly after my purchase I moved. Not until today have I had a chance to do any updates on it. And in this process I have been having issues.

Fist I updated the App, Then through the app I could do some updates, which I did. After that I removed the sd card and put the latest update (Firmware v1.11.20 is the only one I see) from the dji website on the card. Put the card back into the drone and started the update. After about 10-15 minutes I got the steady D.. sound and a solid red light in front of the camera, stating the update had failed. Turned the drone off and back on. And it failed again after about 1 minutes of being turned back on. I even tried it again with the other SD card I had and still failed.

I am completely lost and do not know how to proceed. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also you may have to dumb down any possible solutions for me as like I said I am not too familiar with it.

THANKS!

Below Is the error messages from the update if that helps!

Welcome to the forum!

Did you check to see if it was still working well before making any changes?

Did you install 1.3.2 before going any higher? If not, that may be your issue. DJI has historically maintained an archive of FW versions on their site even though they don't always show links to them. For archived FW versions directly from DJI, follow the links in this post.

If you've already done your research, already read the release notes and you've made an informed choice to update your FW, click here and follow those steps closely.
[ Release notes are here: P3P release notes ]

If you do choose to update to 1.11.20, make sure that you are aware of the significant flight distance restrictions that need to be removed. Click here to read about it, get some of the background, and how to remove the restrictions.
