Noob question just received my P4 want to make sure I know what Im doing before even trying to fly it I saw on youtube if you pull the throttle stick all the way back for two seconds it turns off the engines.. would this happen if it was in the air? Just want to know what NOT to do... thanks for your help

No. Only a CSC will turn off the motors mid-flight.

No, as last chap has stated, if you pull the throttle stick all the way back your bird will just come down at a set rate. Only the emergency command will shut the motors down in mid flight so you are good to go on that point I would strongly advise you read the operator's manual from cover to cover then read it again first though.
