Third party boosters, what about the 5,8 ghz freq?

Installing 2,4Ghz boosters on a P4P ? Really I have seen some guys do it, the problem is a switching frequency from 2,4Ghz to 5,8Ghz, ? Suppose that you are now on a 5.8Ghz freq with a 2.4ghz booster and antenna is there a chance of damaging your remote hardware ?

I doubt you'd damage the remote but you'd probably see little or no RF output on 5.8 GHz if running through a 2.4 GHz amp. Best option would be to wait for a proper dual-band kit, should be out soon.
