Ok strange idea and it may make little sense. If you watch a U2 plane take off the outer legs fall off as it leaves the runway. What if we design a landing leg system for takeoffs only? Like a cradle. This would solve the landing gear in the shot. Maybe have something in back for some protection and for catching when landing. I do not want the wider and taller legs because it would no longer fit in my case. Just an idea, I may be out to lunch.
