My drone has been stored for 8 months and now I'm have trouble getting it to start. Has anyone else had this problem?

How did you attempt to start it? What happened when you attempted to start it?

I installed a newly charged battery and I had a fully charged controller. Pressed button on battery and the lights come on and then go off. I also tried to start the controller and the same thing happens. After many attempts it will startup.

Did you press and release the battery button quickly? If so, you need to press it, release it, and then press and hold it.

I was just thinking the same thing. As soon as I read the first post, I knew where the thread would likely lead. Probably you did as well.
This scenario comes up so often that I may add it to my tips post.

Haha, Memory gets short over time, I see this happen a lot on here. I find myself doing the double press on the power button on non-DJI products all the time LOL.
