SRT files

I took the SD card out of my P4 and noticed that for every video file there was also a .SRT file i.e..DJI001.SRT what are these files?

I forgot to say I opened on a laptop running Windows 10 file explorer. I could not open the SRT files only the videos.

Subtitle files.
If you play the video and the SRT file is in the same folder, you should see some telemetry data overlayed.

FYI, those files are being created because you have the following setting enabled in DJI GO:
