SONY QX100 Camera Control

Has anyone had any luck controlling the Sony QX100 .. I managed to repeat the WIFI but find it unreliable... I am thinking of a servo to control the shutter while in flight... I can lock the focus and go with shutter priority and move the craft around to get the zoomed in photo I want... But that is a crude solution.
