Set to P mode but flying like Sport or Atti

I was doing some shooting for a client today and my P4 started getting super aggressive like it was in sport mode. I had it set to P mode for sure. I had to turn off the phantom and turn it back on to get it to act normal again.

This happen to anyone else?

Yep! It happened again today. I just land it and restart the P4 and it works. Really tough to get the cinematic shots I'm aiming for when it starts flying so aggressively.

How long have you been flying the P4? What do you mean super aggressive? Did you have GPS lock?

Were you flying with 'Obstacle Avoidance' set to off in P mode? This makes the craft fly noticeable faster.

With avoidance turned on, the speeds drop quite a bit and the drone gets more 'docile'.

I picked it up in April. This was the first time I've seen it act like this. I have 20+ hours flight time with it so I'm familiar with how it should function. Just hasn't done this before.
