Maybe asked other times..
P3A owner from about 2 month.
Sometimes i flew far away and when decided to turn the bird back i noticed very often drastic signal drop.
Can make it better if return back the AC in reversing mode to avoid this issue?

I've noticed this sometimes, but the RC signal should stabilise after a second or too once you've turned 180.
If you mean video signal, don't forget, the video signal you see isn't the one recorded on the SD card that remains uninterrupted. Also, bith signals are so much better if you use a windsurfer. It the best "upgrade" I've made.

Try flying back home by keeping the bird oriented as it was, don't rotate it with the nose toward home position. If the signal won't drop and you have no losing signal situations, then I guess one of the antennas from the front legs is damaged.
If the GO app display shows you lose the RC signal, then bird's Rx antenna has a problem.
If by contrary you lose video, then birds's Tx antenna has a problem. I don't recall which leg is which antenna, but you may find it by searching on the forum.
You may try flying backwards from home position. When the signal drops rotate the bird 180 degrees. If the signal is recovering, then this is another sign that something is wrong with the front antennas.

Yes, i mean both signals, with risk of disconnected AC.
I had windsurfers ( best improvement for the budget ), 2 days ago i've upgraded to FPVLR unboosted and very happy of my first test.
Nevertheless with any antenna i've tried, when i reached a considerable distance ( in relation to the setup expectative ) i noticed this drop. Would try next time the reversing and see if somethin changes

Not sure if you have Home Lock in your app for the P3A, but I use that feature on my P4 when I lose video feed and the control signal is dropping away and I can't fly higher to get it back. I just pull back on the right joy stick and it will come straight back to you. If you still have signal, hit RTH it will come back and if your remote disconnects, same story. Just need to make sure your settings are correct in RTH. As Numone mentioned, until you get the quad turned around, there will be some signal loss as the quad is lined up again with the antennas, but this only happens to me at the very limit of my flying distance. Glad your FPVLR are working for you. What sort of distance?

Yes you could try Home Lock as tevek has suggested above.
It will allow you to stay on the outward bound flight path and come back to your home point (backwards) just by pulling back on the right hand stick.

If you conclude the losing signal issue happens just when you fly back home with the bird normally oriented, then reverse orientation flight might be a solution. Yes GO app for a P3P/A has Home Lock feature as part of the Multiple Flight Modus, so you may use it.

Yes, i have home lock in my DJI GO ( and my litchi app has too ), will try to use this feature next time.
And yes, i meant it happens mainly at the very limit of my flying range ( even with still full signal until then ) when i turn around 180, i thought this was a bird side antenna issue.
I think FPVLR antennas are a really improvement in both RC and HD signals, however too early to issue a definitive evaluation. For now i have tested them two times and reached 6 kms

Neither have a "problem" I'm sure, it's just the very low signal levels at long distance that cause this to happen.

Signal loss will happen at the extent of the range especially when manoevering so that sounds normal, is in my case and 6klms is pretty darn good. Nice work.
