No. You can only use a P3P or a P3A gimbal top (main) board with a P3P.

Keep in mind that the gimbal top (main) board is one of weakest parts of the P3Ps and DJI does not sell them. Use caution when buying a used one since there is a good chance the used one will also be bad. No Image Transmission is a very common problem.

If you use a P3A gimbal top (main) board on a P3P, you will effectively change your P3P to a P3A. That would mean a lower and non adjustable downlink (FPV) bitrate of 2 Mb/s max versus a P3P downlink max of 10 Mb/s as well as having only a max of 2.7k recorded video versus a P3P max of 4k.

I bought a 7€ usb-ttl, spend few hours in github and my gimbal works fine now
Video live on dji go is ok
