red lights

When I turn the camera on the red lights go off. Is this something new on the p4pro ? It does not do that
on my p4

You can configure that setting in the following section of DJI GO:

Do you mean the AC front Led's? And what do you mean by "turn the camera on"???
There is a setting in the app to turn them on and off.

I mean when I am flying the lights are on I turn on the camera to take some video's
and the red lights on the bird go off, When I turn off the camera they come back on.

That's what I thought you meant, but the way you worded it was odd, because the camera is already on. That's all. Hope the settings clear that up for you.

This auto turn off is a handy setting, when the sun goes down and the lights are on you get a red glare on the lens that you see all too well in the video.

When shooting stills or video lights turn off automatically, to prevent the them showing up in shot, in the DJI Go 4 app in camera settings there is an option to set the front led's auto turn off function
