Range extenders without remote modification

Hello,

New to the phantom crowd and was curious what options are available for range extension that doesn't require totally tearing apart your remote

I've seen the ITELITE mod, along with mods to add high gain antenna's, but I'd prefer to not void the warranty on the remote, and am curious if there are other options that can be added and removed quickly.

I have seen the windsurfer mods, but I am wondering if those truly work.

Windsurfers work through "directivity" or beam shaping.

Try cupping your hands behind you ears sometime to listen to faint sounds, it's the same concept.
