Over the weekend, I had the best opportunity to get photos of a “fog river” near my house.

Took the photos, in RAW... and then pulled them off my bird to the Macbook.

The pictures were lookin like they were taken on a flip phone IMO.
What can I do to make the photos come out like actual photos?

It seems to me, that pictures are little noisy (very high ISO?). What camera camera settings did you set?

My opinion is that due to Auto mode ISO went too high and noise as well. You can check it on some Photo editor. ISO should be 100 or 200 but not more 400 due to noise.

Did you process the DNG files with RAW editing software?

The images you posted are 960x540 pixels. That's the size of the JPG file that's embedded within the DJI RAW data. If you edited the images and exported them, then the final size should be 4000x3000 pixels.

Are the images you posted the JPG files? If so, then you can't condemn the camera just yet.

With the proper editing software, there are a lot of things you can do to enhance your images. Removing grain is one of them.

I use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CS6. The camera does shoot in RAW, that’s what I take off the camera.

It may have changed to jpg on the Tapatalk uploader?
