Please help. Got a DJI phantom 3 4k from a 3rd party. They dismantled the controller and didn’t put it together correctly.

DJI phantom 3 4k.
Someone opened the remote controller in order to install a new improved antenna. They removed the Datalink controller board from behind the controller, the one with the usb inputs. This particular controller has a thin flex ribbon cable, but the datalink controller board has a larger socket.
Does anyone have pictures or know how to reinstall it correctly? Does it go in the middle of the socket, or all the way to the left or right? I tried different ways, but usb doesn’t want to work. Not even the C1 and C2 buttons work.

Sorry, I don't have a P3 4K.

That model was released almost ten years ago.

You might search youtube. Lots of good old Phantom mods illustrated on youtube back in the day.

I haven’t been able to find the correct model on google or YouTube. I have only found the ones with the larger flex ribbon cable that fits exactly in that opening. But this model uses a smaller cable, about 1/4 of the opening. Hard to pinpoint exactly how to reinstall it. . Im hoping someone has or had the same problem and can help me out.

I don't have a 4K either. If all else fails, go to plan B. Find a used P3 4K controller for sale from a reputable dealer or person. Who knows what damage has been done inside the original controller.

You need DJI # GL358wB.

I don't think I'd trust any of my P3's to a butchered controller.

That is what I was thinking. Just replacing the controller. I found a controller for a dji 3 pro for $30 bucks, but it did not work on my phantom model. The one you posted GL358wb is the correct one that I need.
