Are you happy with p3a camera quality?i can say tha video quality are perfect. I can't say the same for photos. Anybody agree?
Interesting documents thanks for explanation.I'll agree and then disagree as the camera and sensor are clearly designed more for video than stills. On the Professional, DJI provides the Sony EXMOR Type 1/2.3 sensor with an effective 12.4 M pixels and a lens with FOV 94° 20 mm (35 mm format equivalent) f/2.8, focus at ∞. The ISO range is excellent at 100-3200 (video) 100-1600 (photo). This is the same sensor SONY uses on their FDR-X1000V series ActionCam:

So for it's design and implementation, it's an excellent selection for aerial photography, but certainly not a NIKON nor CANON DSLR for stills.
But as it's always been said in general photography, "Good photos aren't dependent on the equipment, but rather the photographer" -- http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/notcamera.htm or http://www.ephotozine.com/article/don-t-blame-your-equipment-if-you-take-a-bad-photograph-10828
