Tablet screen shows disconnect.

I have a Phantom 3 Advance. I haven't flown it for awhile. I changed all the batteries, opened DJI GO app, turned on the remote and the drone, connected my tablet to the remote. Picked advance 3 on screen. I got a picture, but the drone shows disconnected and the camera view doesn't show. Doesn't anybody know how to fix it?

2 things

1) the advance like the Pro suffers the issue of loss of video signal if left unused for a long period, sadly unlike the Pro there is no fix.
2) the new app version seems to have issues with older phones tablets running Android latest OS

I know that my Nokia phone with the latest Android shows the disconnected issue yet my IOS phone 13 works fine, not sure why.

Of course the usual things like try another cable spring to mind BUT DONT EVER EVER UPDATE THE FIRMWARE ON IT.

What was the picture?


Drone shows disconnected?
----- The tablet?
----- Does the remote show connected?

Don't mess with the firmware! (At this point) 👌

I've had connection issues after a long period of non use also. Only fix I've found is a few (2 or 3) complete shutdowns and restarts seems to 'wake up' the connection and all is normal.

Be sure your linking cable is a full data cable, and not just a cheap charging cable. And as mentioned above, DO NOT mess with the firmware.

Thank you for the info. I'm not too happy about the problem the advance has. I'm using an older app that is no longer on Google play. If I could ask what app would you recommend. I use a Lenovo 8" tablet. I also checked with my Samsung S22 Ultra, same issue. I will try a known good data cable. I heard a long time ago not to update the firmware.
 
How about the link status remote and P3A?

DJI and other Chinese drone manufacturers no longer put their software on Google Play. You can download the software from the company website.
