Hey Guys,
Is it just me or does the weight of the Zenmuse H3 2D Gimbal seem a bit too heavy for the Phantom? DJI recommended maximum weight for Phantom + payload is 2000 grams or less. Looks like its 230 grams for the Gimbal, 22g for the GCU and PMU v2 (not sure what that weighs)? I realize it would equal less flight time, but I keep reading about stress fractures on the Phantom shell at the motor mounts which wouldn't be so much of a problem if you could actually buy a replacement shell. Apparently, there is an additional piece of kit in addition to the gimbal that phantom owners need to purchase which I assume is the PMU and the 7th channel lever for gimbal pitch? Does anyone have an accurate weight of all the kit required for the Gimbal + Phantom as well as what is included in the Phantom kit for the Zenmuse H3 2D Gimbal? I don't mind learning how to solder (some might), but it was advertised as plug and play so will it indeed be plug and play? Seems DJI is being a bit coy? Pretty cool piece of kit, but seems more suited for F450 or F550 owners? Many thanks!
