Phantom 1 h3-2d gimbal issues

Hi all
My first post here , I have been given a phantom one ( loads of spares ,batteries, fpv system) , the h3-2d gimbal seems to have problems ,i think the actual gimbal cable is damaged , can you still get the 2d cable ,if not does a 3d fit ,and of course the next question is can you upgrade a 2d gimbal to a 3d on the phantom 1, many thanks in advance , martin

Yes 2d cable is the same as the 3d cable (8 pin).

Coolio , i will see if i can repair the old one a little ( good practice) if not ,time to go shopping, can i upgrade to a h3-3d and controller onthe phantom 1
