Hi, I have a plan to buy the P4Pro very soon , but should I wait for the p5? Since the P4P released, will it still be a p5 between February and April ? Or do you guys have an idea on when it will release ?

DJI does not announce new models ahead of time. No solid evidence has surfaced yet either.

Only dji know if and when they are going to release a new drone. What it will be and what it will be called is any ones guess. Time will tell.

But where does it end? When the P5 comes out, should you wait for the P6? Seems like they have a new one that comes out every eight months to a year. Just jump in the water is fine.

Good advice.

I wonder will there be a phantom 13 or will they name it X3. Fly what you have and enjoy, hell I still drive a 2004 pickup and it run's well.
Can you tell me what's the best pickup out there? I can, the one with no payments.

I have a 91 F250 that still runs great, I love driving around in the old pig :)

You will never ever ever ever be able to outrun technology.

never
ever
ever

advances in technology never sleeps, never takes a day off, tech advances will have moved forward by the time you finish reading this.

buy what suits your needs use it enjoy it break it...then go buy something else once the first thing no longer does the job you need it to do or cant do a job you need it to do.

The Phantom 10 will prob be solar powered and never require a battery recharge. Also will have a range to 100 nautical miles. Can't wait!!! :D

Since P4P just released a couple months ago, and they have quite a bit of work still to sort things out, I predict it will be Q4 before you'll see a P5. I expect a major jump in feature set, and we all expect bugs for the first 4 months after released. It could also be priced closer to $2K, depending on how Autel prices their new craft this summer (1" sensor, retracts, 360 camera). If you have other craft to fly and can wait for P5, that's not a bad option if you don't care about the quality of captures from the 1" sensor at this time. But if you don't have a craft, then buy the P4P (not P4P+) and enjoy a great value craft. If you're a beginner, you should consider buying P4 or P3P at bargain prices today, learn to fly in preparation to buy a P5 in Q4. This lowers your risk if you crash while learning to fly.

I would recommend for a beginner to not jump in the deep end of the pool and instead get a P3S. Excellent drone at a good price-under $500 new. Heck for a lot of people the P3S is good enough.
