Phantom 4 RC beeps when powered up

The Phantom 4 RC beeps when powered up until the left stick is pulled all the way back then beeping stops and all is good.

Why is that?

As I remember it did not always do that.

Why is that?

As I remember it did not always do that.

Like msinger said, the RC probably needs to calibrated. The RC is likely sensing a forward condition on the left stick, even though your stick appears centered physically.
