Is it possible with the phantom 4 pro+ to download apps. I can't find anywhere on the controller where I can download third-party apps.

However, you could buy another remote less the screen and 'app away' on it once you link it to your bird. I'd look to accompany it with an either an Apple iPad Air 2 or iPad Pro 9.7" model as the Android seems to be troublesome in time overall, and even with their Pro + screen model here which runs some condensed and locked version of it: My 4 Pro+ screen froze 3 times
