hello all I was wondering how do I know when to update my firmware on my phantom 3 standard, I did it last year in 2017 June or july, so it never came up on my phone saying update firmware, since then, and now its feb, 2018. I did check to see what my version is at now and it is 1.9.20 when I checked my on my phone, I think the the phone will let me know when to update the firmware when I am flying the drone, thanks for any advice,

The P3S firmware was lasted updated on June 23rd. If you'd like to see what was changed, you can download the release notes from the P3S downloads page.

When new firmware is available, DJI GO will prompt you to install it.

You have the latest firmware. If you aircraft is flying well, you dont need to upgrade the firmware, but you do have to ignore the upgrade banner at top of the screen

You are current and yes, you will receive an alert on the app if they happen to push out another update, though I can't imagine what it would be. With everything going on with the P4, not much left to do with the P3.
