Phantom 3 Standard Signal lost

I only can get 100ft. high and about 310 ft. on distance. Not sure what good be the problem . The drone is new and never been dropped. Could a loose antenna wire cause this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check beginners mode is off (I assume so if you can get 300' +) and check max altitude and max range settings.
Does it stop at those distances or lose signal? How are you orientating your antenna?

Beginner mode is off. What should the max height and range be set to? The antenna is straight up and the controller is pointed at the drone.

Max height - depends on where you are - 120m or 400 feet is a safe bet. Max range should be off.
Does it lose signal and RTH, or stop?
