Consider the price of a replacement phantom 3 remote. If you want to run HDMI, add 99 bucks to that. You can get both with an inspire 1 remote. It works with the phantom 3. It also has built in GPS (although the pilot app doesn't use it for the phantom yet). just FYI

I love my hard shell I just got last week. Took it on my first bike ride and although heavy over course of commute, it conforms to body perfectly. Should be ideal for air travel. One thing I don't like is if I bring charger in it, forces me to cram props in tinier spot. I carry a sun shade with my iPad mini. Others have reported removing the top clam shell to stick an iPad Air in with no additional mods. Tested with my laptop but it made the bag a little too heavy for comfort.

Hi, I crashed my p3 pro today. Screwed up the body pretty bad. Can I buy just the drone and camera and still use the controller, charger and batteries I have?

Where can I get a replacement plastic LED cover for the Phantom 3? One of mine fell off and after a 45 minute wait on hold calling DJI all they could recommend was "send it in for repair - wait time is 4-8 weeks". Are they kidding? I just need this small piece of plastic. Have it covered with scotch tape for now...

Phantom 3 Replacement Cameras are CONFIRMED for arrival on Monday, both the 4K and HD Cameras. At 12:30 CST, we still have a few of each available.

I do not believe they do. Monday will be the first time that we see DJI's Hoods. Supposedly they attache with velcro. I personally am hoping that is not velcro to the device but I won't be able to confirm anything until Monday when I have one of these in my hands. Will report back.
