Has anyone converted their P2 to 5.5? I do cell tower work and am getting interference on 2.4 but don't want to buy a new unit if I don't have to.

Nothing to stop you, but you might find you still get interference issues, as the RF power from the cell tower will swamp the receiver and cause interference anyway.
You will need to swap out the TX as a whole unit and the RX module on the quad. these can be picked up reasonably cheaply due to the number of crashed Vision and Vision+!
I think the FC40 uses a different TX, so I would avoid buying that equipment.
