P4 Pro - buy now or wait for v1 release?

my thanks to everyone on the forum who have been so patient with me and my questions - never had a drone before. Is there such a thing as a dot release of the hardware? I see lots of issues reported about range, horizon issues, edge softening on one side, flicker, etc. Can most of these be corrected with software updates or would DJI make physical changes and ship the enhanced version?

Since you are new you may not know that there are always issues reported with every new model release, some are real and many (most) are just people chewing endlessly on a bone. If you believe everything you read on forums then no DJI model has ever been ready for release.

If you read carefully you can usually sort out the wheat from the chaff, i.e. does the poster seem truly objective or do they have an endless number of posts all bitching about the same thing(s) over and over? I would advise ignoring the latter or you'll never own a drone.
