P3A and P3P filter removal tool

Hi everyone, have seen several posts about the filter on the Advanced and Professional being hard to remove. This might be useful for people where the usual tricks (elastic band, rubber gloves etc) have failed. Something for the toolkit.

Just use your prop tool

Yes some have got the plastic prop tool to work, but phantom 3's released earlier in 2015 came with a different tool - a little metal spanner that hooked into the spokes on the motor.

I put mine in the fridge for a little while, came right off.

Are you talking about a lenses filter? Thats the only filter I know about. If not where is the other filter?

I thought this too. I'm 99.9% sure its the camera lens filter, not like an air intake filter

Yes a camera lens filter - for removing the original to fit alternatives such as nd filters.
