orientation indicator

Peter: We’re also using the P4P+. One evening, almost at sunset, we were filming a group of gemsbok quite a long way from where we were. (We got some great footage of which a few seconds is being used for the title clip of a film we’ve been working on.) Anyway, on the way back to us, we missed finding the drone in the air. We could hear it, getting louder, then alarm bells rang when the buzzing lessened. It had actually passed us and was over half a kilometre in the opposite direction to where we had been filming. We got seriously disoriented and the battery was getting a bit low. We weren’t in our dramatic mountainous area, but there was still plenty of undulating land. Hitting RTH in that situation is one option, but using the red arrow and adjusting the orientation to the green home point is an excellent option. (And, yes, we did lose line of sight on this occasion, but we were flying over part of 30,000 acres of our own land.) The technology is fantastic.
