Please help, I had to replace the gimbal on my DJI FPV unit because of a crash. The goggles say I need to calibrate the camera. I am struggling to find any useful guide on this. I started DJI Assistant 2 (For DJI FPV), click the "Calibrate Camera" option to the left, then try to follow the steps listed, but I cannot get passed the first calibration screen. I am trying to follow the instructions in the demo, but there is no "red box" on the screen and I can't get passed this.

Can someone please help me out here? Is there a step I am missing? Any help at all would be tremendously appreciated!

P.S. I have a second DJI FPV (no crash) and I cannot get it to do the calibration process either. It doesn't need it, but I figured I'd try my pristine unit and I am having the same issues. So, I must be doing something wrong.

The bird is literally the "DJI FPV" ha ha ha. This guy:

I know it's not a Phantom, but this forum has lots of long-time DJI users, so I was hoping I could get some help from the experienced userbase here.

I was able to get the calibration to work by using my laptop (no idea why). But I am still getting the Calibrate Camera error in my goggles, even after I successfully calibrate the drone in DJI Assistant.

It sounds like you're having trouble with the calibration process, which can be tricky with the DJI FPV system. First, make sure you're using the latest version of DJI Assistant 2, as outdated software can sometimes cause issues. When you start the calibration, ensure the drone is powered on, and the camera is fully connected. The "red box" typically appears once the system detects the camera’s position, so try moving the drone slightly or adjusting the camera angle to trigger the calibration. If it’s still not working, try reinstalling DJI Assistant 2 or using a different USB port. Since you're experiencing this with both drones, there may be a deeper software or connectivity issue, so you might also want to reach out to DJI support for more specific troubleshooting steps.
