Opening links in new browser tab by default

Hi

Like many folks here, I click on links to view external sites, videos etc & automatically get taken to that site. I am taken away from this forum.

That isn't very friendly and it could be changed to make links always open in new tabs.

As a newbie here, I do not have permissions to contact an admin yet

Can a Moderator / Admin handle this question please.

Depends on your browser and device but in principal try right click and choose open in new tab.

Thanks but...

as a web developer and now a quad enthusiast, I just cannot stand by and see people suffer the consequences of not speaking up.

It would take 5 minutes for the admin of this forum to implement a change that would benefit everyone. This is not a criticism, just an observation and a nudge to the admin(s)
